The Mirror Crack’d

Never got to see much of the mirrored building initially as the minute we arrived through the gate there was something wrong with Henrietta and specifically her clutch. More on that later in another post.

There is a gate across the road into the area where the building is. It’s called “Maraya”, there’s also that Banyan Tree resort in there and all sorts of swanky places the mortals cannot enter. We managed to gain entry and were in fact lucky. Many others failed. Allegedly you need a restaurant booking to get in. Needless to say we didn’t have one.

It’s a little bit of a Mecca of another type. The real Mecca is just up the road of course. This time it’s a pilgrimage for the Instagram famous lot who want reels and photos. So do we but we don’t care about that stuff for monetary reasons. We just want some photos.
