You know when you’re desperate for a beer when you go to a hotel bar in Oman and pay 5.500 OMR for a pint and that’s the cheap American stuff as there’s no tax on American beer in Oman. I say cheap as 5.500 OMR is £11.54. A pint. The can was a more reasonable 4.000 OMR.
I think we blew the budget for a month in just two drinks each.
