Costa Coffee

You cannot cross into Costa Rica from Panama at Rio Sereno near Volcan. They no longer sell insurance so will not let you into Costa Rica. Its cost us 3 hours at the border checking out and back into Panama. Don’t go there. Go to the far north crossing (road is good by all acounts) or the Paso Canoas. They sell insurance at both.
