Up Pompeii

One of the Tourist attractions of El Salvador and a town (Joya de Ceran) covered in volcanic ash. Not bad for $3usd each and $1usd for the car. Only a quick visit is required. Maybe an hour or slightly more so Its good for a stop over and a break from driving the short distances in El Salvador…!Also nearby there’s the Lake lake Coatepeque formed from, can you guess…..a volcanic caldera. Some OK restaurants at the top of the hill with good reviews.
